Buckhaven Paths & Trails

Local walking and cycle routes, by CLEAR Buckhaven

Residents and visitors to this small coastal town are often surprised by its surroundings. Occupying a fabulous location perched above the Forth with views across to the Lothians and looking across to the volcanic rim of the Lomonds and Largo Law, this neglected area needs to be explored.

The built environment is rather rundown but there are interesting walks and trails around town which invite exploration and offer easy and accessible opportunities for health, fitness, natural and heritage interest.

Local community group CLEAR Buckhaven has been involved in planting around town - woodland, orchards, spring bulbs, flower beds. This includes planting along some paths and parks around town and especially out along the Fife Coastal Path.   We'd like more residents and visitors to get out and aboutaround town  - on foot or on bicycle. This website carries details of various trails for exercise or interest. So what's stopping you?
